Non-Rechargeable Cells
Ultralife manufactures a wide range of primary (non-rechargeable) cells that offer low self-discharge and a wide operating range. Cells are available to serve applications from low to high rates.
- Thin Cell: Small, thin pouch cells available in multiple standard sizes as well as custom options. Lithium Manganese Dioxide.
- 9 Volt: The world’s longest lasting lithium 9 volt. A consumer-replaceable battery lasting up to 5 times longer than ordinary alkaline 9V batteries. Lithium Manganese Dioxide.
- CR Cylindrical: These cylindrical shaped 3.0V cells offer excellent temperature characteristics, a flat discharge curve and a hermetically sealed nickel plated container for long term shelf life. Lithium Manganese Dioxide.
- ER Cylindrical: These cylindrical shaped cells are available in low, medium and high rates depending on your application needs. These cells offer wide operating temperature ranges and are technician replaceable. Lithium Thionyl Chloride.
- XR Cylindrical: These cylindrical shaped cells improve upon Lithium Manganese Dioxide chemistry, providing an almost 50% increase in both capacity and shelf-life, whilst also reducing initial suppression of cell voltage that is typical of pure CFx chemistries. - Ultralife’s Electrochem Cells: Primary Lithium cells for high reliability in mission-critical and extreme environment applications – manufactured in our custom-built facility in Raynham, MA. Lithium Thionyl Chloride, Lithium Sulfuryl Chloride, Lithium Bromine Chloride.
Rechargeable Battery Packs
- Hard Packs: Housed in a tough plastic case, Ultralife’s rechargeable Lithium-ion hard packs are idea for devices that require a hard-wearing power solution.
- Soft Packs: Mostly housed in plastic wrapping, Ultralife’s rechargeable Lithium-ion soft packs can be quickly integrated into a device using flying leads or a range of connectors.
- 2590 Packs: Ultralife’s rechargeable UBI-2590 Lithium-ion batteries power both military and commercial applications. Smart and non-smart versions are available. Packs can be used in parallel or series mode..
- Wearable: Ultralife’s has a range wearable Lithium-ion batteries, including our UBBL72 Next-Generation Conformal Wearable Battery.
- Lead Acid Alternative: ULTRALIFE’s rechargeable Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are 3 times lighter than Sealed Lead Acid batteries and are available in voltages ranging from 6.4 to 25.6V. They can be connected in series or parallel to customize voltage or capacity.
- X5 Power Solutions: Ultralife’s 120VAC X5 Power System is a reliable, hot-swappable uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that has proven itself in medical carts. It can utilize AC mains and Ultralife’s URB-X5 hot-swappable batteries to power devices up to 150W, such as desktop computers and printers.
- SeaSafe: Ultralife’s SeaSafe autonomous, smart battery modules are easy to use battery building blocks available in three versions (direct in water, in oil filled case, and in pressure vessel).
