The unmatched rugged edge computing capability of the HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Server System deserves an equally high performance standby power system to mitigate the risks associated with an unreliable power grid. The EL8000-UPS implements Online Double Conversion technology, providing the ultimate protection against the most problematic power source by isolating the load equipment from the utility power. The Double Online Conversion topology is the best for mission-critical applications, delivering a pure sine wave and zero transfer time.

The EL8000-UPS is the only commercially available half-rack UPS at this power level and fits perfectly in the EL8000-MCS series of Mil-Spec transit cases from Ultralife Corp. Able to support “cold start” operations, this UPS will enable an attached Edgeline EL8000 to boot without a utility power source, and the traditional UPS alarm signal can be turned off to enable silent operation when required.
